The U.S. Park Police is hoping the public can help identify an individual who was seen in a video police released on Wednesday as part of an investigation into alleged vandalism at the Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C.

The video shows a person kneeling next to the pool and reaching an arm into the water, Fox News reported. The person is wearing a gray shirt and black shorts, and is holding a light-colored handbag. The incident happened around 3:36 p.m.

President Donald Trump and other officials have said that multiple people have been arrested for allegedly damaging the pool.

"They went down with probably a box cutter or a very sharp razor of some kind or a knife, and they cut, and then they started ripping it up. You know why? Because they're sick people," Trump said in the Oval Office on Wednesday.
