Amazon's stock surges as Q2 earnings show profit and sales jump
Sales at Amazon grew to more than 134 billion dollars for the second quarter, pushing stock prices higher. The company reported better-than-expected earnings for its wide range of products. The eleven percent surge drove stock prices up nearly 10 percent in after-hours trading.
