FTC launches investigation into ChatGPT’s parent company over personal data violations
The Federal Trade Commission opened an investigation into OpenAI Thursday over alleged violations of consumer protection laws. The FTC will assess how Chat GPT’s parent company handled personal data and the risk of users obtaining inaccurate information from the AI technology.
