Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announces resignation
Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced she will step down from the role in a news conference on Wednesday, February 15th. Sturgeon has held the role since November 2014, when she took over from Alex Salmond following Scotland’s independence referendum.
