The White House announced Monday that Vice President JD Vance will deliver remarks in Virginia this week to commemorate 250 years of "military excellence," as the nation prepares for its 250th birthday.

"The Vice President will deliver remarks to celebrate 250 years of American military excellence and will highlight the Trump Administration’s efforts to support American warfighters and veterans," the White House said in a press advisory.
The remarks come as Americans nationwide prepare to celebrate the United States' 250th birthday on Saturday. President Donald Trump is expected to deliver remarks this Friday at Mount Rushmore, in Keystone, South Dakota.
