President Donald Trump on Friday issued 11 pardons, including one for the former business partner of lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

Nine pardons were issued to those who helped people bypass emission control systems on vehicles.

They faced charges of violating the Clean Air Act by either disabling the devices or selling devices that allowed the emission systems to be bypassed, the Associated Press reported

The president also pardoned Adam Kidan, a former business partner of Abramoff, who pleaded guilty in 2005 to fraud and conspiracy related to the purchase of a fleet of gambling boats. He was sentenced to six years in prison in 2006.

Trump also pardoned ranch owner Jack Harvard.

"Harvard turned his life around by committing himself to public service—protecting and raising endangered animals on his ranch, and allowing the US military and NATO troops to train on his land free of charge," the White House said in a memo, the New York Post reported.
