A plane crash in northeastern France killed 11 people on Sunday, including a pilot and 10 parachutists.

The crash occurred in the town of Tomblaine on ‌Sunday.

The plane, carrying five trainee parachutists and five instructors, ​went down briefly after take-off, according to authorities. 

Reuters reported that the trainees were a group of nurses.
