Russian-installed officials in occupied Crimea declared a state of emergency after Ukrainian attacks damaged key infrastructure, disrupting fuel supplies and leaving parts of the peninsula without reliable electricity.

Authorities said the emergency measures would allow officials to respond faster to the shortages and restore essential services.

Fuel distribution has been restricted in some areas as repair crews work to address the damage.

The latest strikes are part of Ukraine’s ongoing campaign to weaken Russia’s military logistics in Crimea, which has served as a major hub for Moscow’s operations since the peninsula was annexed in 2014.
